Rains
of Revelation, Restoration, and Resurrection
3/15/04
- Through Jason Hooper - FaithFire Ministries
The
Lord gave me this Word during a time of worship and
intercession, but at the time did not release me to
share it with anyone. Six days later, He prpa prophetic
wordallowed me to share this Word with my wife and my
mother-in-law for the sake of documentation. This is
a Word for the Body at large, but it’s specifically
for those who are now receiving a Psalm 91 invitation
in their spiritual mailboxes. There won’t be a guessing,
there will be an unmistakable knowing that this is for
you. The Lord released me last night after work to make
this Word public as I was already getting reports from
those close to me of dreams of torrential downpour that
seemed to cause destruction all around them yet leaving
them unscathed.
I
was drawn into the Spirit and saw dark, deep purple
skies, with large, blue clouds. There was much activity
within these clouds and the Lord said, “there is a
storm a brewing” [in the Spirit]. Lightning and thunder
cracked and boomed from the cloud and fire churned within
it. Then the Lord gave me Ecclesiastes 11:3 “
If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves
upon the earth.” Then with a simultaneous boom
of thunder, a crack of lightning, and a strong gust
of wind as the Lord exhaled rains of revelation, restoration,
and resurrection began to fall, pour, and gush through
the streets. There are those who through their intercession
and spiritual warfare have put themselves in a place
to receive this rain in due season. They are those
who have been crying out in humility (James 4:6,8,10)
for the grace of God (Genesis 6:8) in their
lives seeking the spirit of wisdom and revelation and
the enlightenment of their eyes as told to us by Paul
in Ephesians 1:17-19, yearning for the same anointing
that was so deeply rubbed into Elisha’s bones that it
brought new life into what seemed to be a dead situation
(2 Kings 13:21).
It resembled the great flood of Noah’s day in the fact
that there were those who had walked with God and had
an advance weather report (foreknowledge, accompanying
preparations and provisions through intimacy with God)
and then there were those who thought that Noah was
“wasting” his time waiting on God. This
has been a waiting season; there is no question about
it. It has been a time of escaping and separating from
the Martha syndrome and coming into the Mary anointing
(Luke 10:38-42). One key thing we must keep
in our heart in regards to Noah at this time of his
life is found in Genesis 6:22 “Thus Noah
did; according to all that God commanded him, so he
did.” It is a time where we must be meticulous
in regards to the things that God is speaking to us.
The Lord told me that this is a time of “key details”;
things that before would have seemed relatively unimportant
and trivial are now key steps that will bring us into
a greater measure of His anointing on our “exact” obedience.
This falls under the category of “only doing
the things that I see My Father do.” (John 5:19,30)
In
this very hour, God is speaking to us just as He did
with Noah in Genesis 7:1, “ Then the Lord
said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household,
because I have seen that you are righteous (Ephesians
2:8-10; 2 Corinthians 5:21) before Me in this generation.”
The Bridegroom is wooing His Bride into a place
of intimacy, union, and holy consummation.
As
the clouds boomed with activity I could hear the voices
of the witnesses (Hebrews 12:1) decreeing the
coming shift in the spiritual climate and atmosphere
that we have known up until now, each bolt of lightning
seemed to rip through the sky like a steak knife through
rice paper, and the echo of thunderous voices caused
the earth to actually quake into alignment and proper
placement. Instead of being overtaken by the heavy rains
and floods, the water actually caused us to rise above
our present situations to a higher place. We began to
ride these living rains of revelation, restoration,
and resurrection in the direction that they were flowing.
It was like the waters flowed in an upward current that
spiraled around large mountain. Yes, many of you in
an instant will be taken from the valley to the mountaintop.
This is the time where you will see those things that
have been senseless stumbling blocks of adversity in
your life become strategic stepping-stones of triumph
elevating you to a victorious vantage point in Him.
Remember, when in water, the key to floating is being
still!
Revelations
3:22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit
is saying to the churches.” “Make yourself an
ark”(Genesis 6:14) and on the side of
the ark is Psalm 91 “He who dwells in the secret
place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow
of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge
and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.’ Surely
He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and
from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with
His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall
not be afraid of the terror by night, nor the arrow
that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks
in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste
at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten
thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near
you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the
reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord
who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling
place, no evil shall befall you. Nor shall any plague
come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels
charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their
hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot
against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the
cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample
underfoot. Because he has set his love upon me, therefore
I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because
he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will
answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver
him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him,
and show him My salvation.” The Lord
showed me that those with a heart of Psalm 27:4-8
“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will
I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all
the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place
of His tabernacle He shall hide me; he shall set me
high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up
above all my enemies all around me; therefore I will
offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing,
yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. Hear, O Lord,
when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and
answer me. When You said, ‘Seek My face,’ my heart said,
‘Your face, Lord, I will seek.” would actually
be given a burning desire for Psalm 91 in their spirit
and that this would be the confirmation of their involvement
in this Holy Storm.
There
was an overall difference between this flood and the
Genesis flood. This flood brought life, it brought hope,
and it brought supernatural endowments from heaven.
There was not just a returning to life, but also a return
to purity of heart and purpose. I saw many of us in
what I believed to be the Garden of Eden. This speaks
of the return of absolute intimacy and union with the
Father and an abandonment of self-focus. Our eyes were
so fixed on Him, it didn’t matter what we maybe lacking
in the natural, just being in His presence was and always
would be more than enough for us.
This
is a red-letter day for believers! Just as the Words
of Christ were referenced in red, we as His children
are being highlighted for service. We are God’s oracles
and just as this world is hungry to hear from a real
God, God is hungry for His people and soon-to-be people
to take the time to hear from Him. On a side note, let
me present to you some key things to meditate on in
your spirit. He is the Head and we are the hands and
feet. We are the ones that He uses to touch His people
as we respond to Him in bold obedience. John 21:25b
says, “… I suppose that even the world itself could
not contain the books (that would contain all the works
of Jesus during His ministry on earth) that would be
written.” Revelation 19:10b says, “Worship God!
For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
So as you act on true prophetic unction you actually
are becoming a willing vessel for God to unfold the
untold testimonies of Jesus in and through your life!
